Museum Information
The Aviation Museum of Central Finland shows Finnish aviation history from its beginning to the present days
The basic exhibition consists mainly of aircraft, engines and aircrew equipment which has been used by the Finnish Air Force. The equipment of Air Force Signals Museum has its own section. A large collection of scale models gives a wider perspective to the whole field of aviation.
Museum was opened 1979 and since 1987 we have been officially Finnish Air Force Museum.

There is also a café and museum shop. Close to museum in same yard there is Kasinhäntä, surplus shop of Defence Forces. However, it is not part of museum, but belongs to Finnish Air Force.
